Tommy Houston comes to STa FIT with an unwavering passion for helping others achieve their goals in a fitness setting. Tommy was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. His love for exercise stems from being a competitive baseball player most of his life, as well as undergoing a life-changing weight loss journey in his teenage years. Tommy received a baseball scholarship to Northland College in Ashland, WI where he was a proponent of the strength and conditioning program, and received UMAC All-Academic honors for 2015-2016. His college path eventually led him to NAU where he earned his degree in Fitness and Wellness, with minors in Nutrition and Foods, and Business. While at NAU, Tommy volunteered as a student health coach with the University Coaching for Activity and Nutrition (UCAN) program helping students, staff, and faculty with behavior and lifestyle changes. His experience as an athlete, a health coach, and as someone who experienced a significant lifestyle change himself has prepared him for his role at STa FIT to help individuals with whatever goals they have, whether it be health-related or performance-based. Seeing people succeed is what drives him to do what he does! Tommy will also be spending time at the front desk as part of the member services team and looks forward to assisting members and clients and building a relationship with everyone who comes through the door.
